Montgomery County Democrats believe in a strong safety net that helps pick people up when they fall down,

allows them to live with dignity and respect, while they return to productive, full lives.

Montgomery County Democrats believe that every person should have the opportunity to a job that

pays a living wage. We can accomplish this by supporting our small business owners, entrepreneurs, and farmers.

We support action that expands access to health care, child care, college, and vocational training.

We support policies that will foster an economy that creates good jobs and provides a pathway for people to prosper.

Montgomery County Democrats believe we all deserve safe communities and schools,

protected from violence, consumer fraud, corruption, and environmental hazards.

We can and must protect our most vulnerable, including children, the elderly, persons with disabilities,

the homeless, and veterans facing physical and mental health challenges. We are committed to a county that

works for all of it's citizens, and to the first responders who make our communities safe.
